Sport mode wiring to set as default?

Has anyone found a way to set the sport mode as default when starting the car? Maybe by reversing some wires or something.

Why, are you finding pressing a button too much trouble ?

If it is on by default you dont get the pleasure of seeing the passenger tense up as you press the magic button :D

What I'd like is the heavier steering as the default and to be able to switch back to the lighter for parking.

I like that one to! There is sort of a feeling of anticipation when you push the button.

Sticks: I've posted a similar type question on ZPost and Bimmerforum concerning increasing the steering resistance. I hope that someone as a mod or an oem min/max adjustment can post a solution. I would like to have a slightly heavier steering pressure for all speeds, more then the sport button function offers at speed only.

I used to wish for sport on all the time, but now all i do is start the car, hit the fogs button, hit the dsc/dtc button once, and hit the sport button then drive. It's habit now so I never feel the need to have it "auto on" since i have to do the other two anyway.

I love the sport button threads. Drive an auto 2.5 for a while and you'll see why i like it.

How often do you need the fog lights on in California?

I delivered lumber for 3 years while in college and one of the company policies was that you always have your lights on when driving, so here I am, 25 years later still doing it. And actually, where Citation lives and to a lesser extent where I live, fog is quite common except a couple months of the year. It ain't all sunshine in California!

I had - I did - I agree.

There's no arguing with the Duckman! //M drivers love to tell me why i'm nuts and that mashing the pedal will always get me going no matter the sport setting. Drop 150 HP and use a slushbox for a while!
