Did you buy the wheel new from bmw? May I ask how much you paid for it? Mine is pretty tired now.

I had the M sports steering wheel in my previous Zed and loved it. One of the first mods I did to my current car was to have the standard (skinny) wheel refurb'd by Royal Wheels. Although its now much better than the standard wheel, its not as good a feel as the M Sport one. The Royal Wheels refurb is of course much cheaper than buying a new (or 2nd hand) M Sport wheel - I think I paid about £130. Still miss the M Sports wheel though - it was so chunky

I pretty recently paid about €650 from germany for mine so £500. I think they can be had even cheaper now according to some posts I've seen.
So good to have a brand new wheel, feels great. It includes all the MFSW switches as well of course.

It certainly does. I might buy one to just to attach to my computer desk. I may be able to use it more than the one I have in the car.

Not yet, getting a custom central section made up with a super sprint quad bolted on the end.

That's great news Jonny.

I bet that was a bum clenching moment as you turned the key.
