Speed limiter

I have driven a couple of BMW's in the past and get the car shake when hitting the limiter but found out to my delight my Zed doesn't have a limiter. I haven't had it tuned or the limiter removed so is my car faulty

For the record the 35Is changes up into 7th at 165mph and went on to 170mph by Sat Nav before I ran out of runway.

whats the verdict on here then, no limiter on the e89's, ofter wondered what an m would top out at if delimited, and why someone here has'nt figured how to de limit for a reasonable price, have seen quotes of 600 bandied about as part of a remap, why do you need a remap ? can it be done? be good to know..................exdos... HELP

Limiter or not -SHE stops me!

On the Autobahn last year we go a nice, traffic free un restricted bit. I built it up and gave it a healthy squirt and at 130+ish the noise from the passenger seat and her banging her feet was enough to stop any speed runs.

I seem to get that awful noise from the passenger seat at about 80mph. I find it helps to eject any loose articles
