'SPEED DIAL, INIT' init tho?

Hoping to sort this one out with the aid of the forum..
Had this since buying the zed and pairing my cranky old iphone 4s with it, and can't get rid of it.

Basically, once I'm in the car with my phone and paired via bluetooth, a screen flashes up on the computer screen with the heading 'SPEED DIAL' and the text 'INIT' in the main window. Pushed all the buttons on the dash as well as investigated settings on the phone and I can't gett rid of it no matter what I do.
I've also tried unpairing, clearing the computers phone history/paired devices and then re-pairing via bluetooth only to experience exactly the same.
I can briefly choose the satnav, cd player, radio and computer settings but this damn screen keeps interrupting and flashing back up.

Presumably, it's not my computer informing me that speed dialling a number is available with a cockney accent, init. I think it's trying to 'initialise' a setting of some sort.

Can anyone shed any light? had a similar experience? it's drivin me bonkers. grrr :headbang:

Might be the Bluetooth ULF. From memory there was an issue with early ones and iPhones.
care to elaborate on the issues if known?
did a quick forum search but nothing specific.
my bt sounds ok and also use phone to stream to a separate bt module attached to the ipod prep using the cd changer selection. sounds great.
just cant get rid of damn screen when phone is paired...

I get that every time Waze tries to talk, which is via BT so I think srhutch is right.

Thx shrutch. Informative but doesnt really help with my own issue....just need to deal with getting rid of that screen. Everything else works ok.
