SPARK PLUGS & COIL PACKS ?

Hi all just had my INSP 1 done and was wondering when do you all change your plugs etc i did mine every 30k on my heavily modded TT so was just wondering do you all stick with the servicing or do interims ? i personally do my oil every 8k

According to my service booklet (which I assume you have, but not close to hand? :wink: ) it says spark plugs are changed at Inspection II services, which if we assume 15k miles between services will mean they'll fall due at 60k miles. I don't believe coil packs are a service item, but they do sometimes fail. I've had one replaced under warranty recently.

I realise they are done on INSP 2 i was just wondering does anybody do an interim i.e. swap them out a bit earlier i always did my coils at the same time on my TT

Just had my inspection 1 and the dealer checked everything using their diagnostics so if there was a problem with a plug it would flag it up. I'd leave well alone until they change them out at inspection 2.
