Hi All,

Does anyone know if it's an easy job to replace the spark plugs on a 28 SDrive?
Thanks

Yes you need an appropriate range torque wrench and a special 12 point articulated deep reach spark plug drive…

Be aware when removing the plastic cam cover it contains the vacuum reservoir for the PWG if it’s an early E89..

Very very easy to break the two connectors hidden under the cover.

It is if you have a slim socket with an adjustable ball on the end. Without that it is impossible, as the plugs are about a mile down a straight aluminium tube, but the plugs are at an angle in the head. I tried with a standard slim socket first and got the socket wedged in the tube. It was not fun.

With the correct socket it was a walk in the park.
