Spare key LOST

Hi, guys... Been playing hide and seek with my keys since Xmas and ......the keys win!

I understand BMW made several sets of keys which each vehicle and only available from the local stealer, so my chums which stealer steals the least of my hard earned to replace it?

Or are they all the same price? Been quoted £130 from Sytner in Newport Gwent..

Think you will need to use your local stealer, as they will require proof of ownership such as the V5.
 
I'm a HGV driver and pretty much travel the whole of the UK so got that angle covered, I understood as much and have logbook, licence, ID etc in a bundle ready to offer our Bavarian cousins! :D

Not seen the keys for any less than this - IIRC you can only have up to five keys made for the same vehicle and then... Well, I am not sure what happens then actually, you probably need to change all the locks :D

For what it's worth, that's roughly how much a spare cost the dealer I bought my car from. I don't think they come cheaper.
 
Does anybody know the how long they take to arrive once ordered, getting ultra paranoid by having an empty space on the key hook, or even worse what's the cost of the dreaded alternative?


And of course the bugger will turn up when I do part with folding!
