I've bought some 15mm spacers from a recommended seller on ebay, but the ones that arrived are not as those in the picture.

The ones that arrived have many more holes, not just the 5 x 120.

Question is, the quality looks good, but do I send them back, email and ask if correct spacers sent, or just fit and forget?

They also came with extended bolts, so should fit just fine, just the extra holes surely weaken the spacers slightly? I have heard of spacers cracking, but only the 10mm Eibachs.

Well I rang Direct Line and they dont need to do anything other than add a note to my file, no premium etc.

I'm getting the ellipsoids dipped, blasted and resprayed silver next week, so will add the spacers then. £264 for a one day service, from a 'proper' place in Hull. They have their own acid bath etc. I got quotes at other shops that wanted 3 days to send them out to be blasted etc, and wanted £300 so seems like a winner.

I want some new bolts for the front wheels to replace the slightly rough, corroded OEM bolts. Will the ebay bolts stay nice and shiny?
 
The ones pictured are not suitable for 15mm, you need the type that have 10 holes, 5 of which are countersunk, then bolt the spacer to the hub using the existing hub threaded holes using new bolts. Then attach the wheel to the spacer using the other 5 threaded holes. It is imortant to fit the correct length bolts throughout the process.
 
The ones supplied have 10 holes, but are bolt through spacers. From reading the forums, this is ok for up to 15mm but anything over needs to be bolt on, not bolt through.
 
I've just purchased some 15mm spacers and all the good makes at this size spacer are bolt on. As an Engineer I haven't done the math to calculate the forces and thus the shear load on the thread when the bolts are 15mm longer so I cannot comment, however all the bolt calulations that I have used, having the shortist distance between clamping surfaces is all the better.
 
I appreciate bolt on can be less stress, but it also means there's a set of bolts that you can't see or get to. On my old TT I had bolt on 20mm rear spacers and had an annoying creak. Turned out one but on the spacer was a 1/4 turn loose.

I think for 15mm they will be fine, even eibach sell 15mm bolt through spacers.
