South Coast Newbie!

Hey all! I purchased a Z4 last week and thought it would be a good idea to join a forum full of helpful friendly people on my exciting journey into the Zed world! I’ve previously had a mk1 mx5, and a mk2.5.. so this one hell of an exciting upgrade!
I’ve gone for the 2.5i, and I’m entirely impressed with the power.. the guy who had it previously removed the back box so it sounds incredible!
Anyway, a big hello to you all! If there are any south coast folk who fancy a cruise at some point let me know 8)

Sophie

Looks slick! I'm a new owner too, first BMW for me so going to be getting use to it. I see you've had MX5s......my in-laws have a Mk1 and I've just done cambelt, waterpump, rear shocks and repaired a wiring loom a mouse had chewed through  Whereabouts on the south coast are you?

Hey both!

I’m in the Havant area, near Portsmouth!

Ahh I did love my mk1.. and it was one of the only ones I had witnessed not to be a rust bucket! They’re so easy to work on.. I think I might struggle with transferable knowledge to the Z4 aha.

Welcome from another South Coastie 8)

I'm Folkestone, but do know your area, used to live on Thorney Island as a teenager. which was nice

Thank you all :D :D
