I know some of you have removed the foam baffles that feed into the cabin.....

Question is, what was your acceptable level of sound or did you put them both back in?

I love the sound from the motor when I hit high revs, just wish there was a little more feed back from the engine inside the cabin. Not sure myself the levels it will scream as only just went out to look where the tube , (dark and all and late) Spent all day polishing and waxing and refurbishing the dash board. Which in its self was kind of a major time consumer, due to the bumpy surface.

Pity as it was a nice day today and could have sorted it for my self and weather looks to be ugly the next few days so wont be looking to dink around with it till sometime next week.

Looking for feed back. Cheers.

i ended up with just 1 third of 1 piece in mine... then when i had a new exhaust i put the lot back in as it wasn't really needed anymore :D

I took it all out. Then put the engine side back in. Then tried it with the firewall side back in. Then I put it all back in haha. I do to many miles and it got droney.

full stainless from the cats no backbox is loud enough for me already so no need for sound mod in mine

I had no foam in the engine side (guess previous owner removed it). But I removed the foam in the firewall end. So no foam - the engine does scream at high revs. However, I've put the foam back in because I'm getting the same custom back box mod as mr.tourette next week :)

mine are all out, and I have a BB delete. summer with roof off is amazing..... motorway driving is hell. its a trade off

I think it sounds terrible when you completely floor it with all, or even just half the foam removed. It should sound deep and powerful but actually screams and sounds like you're over-revving a cheap, low-powered engine. I can't think offhand of anything else I dislike about the car, but the sound is definitely a let down.
