Have the 3.0 and removed the pipe.

One of the sponges had been removed,which is probably why she sounds so good,so thought try with both out

10 mins of driving, sponge was back in,far to hard on the ears at mid to high revs,expecially with the hood up

I've got 1 sponge removed which I really like - made no difference to normal driving (for me at least) but nice rasp on mid to WOT.

Was thinking about taking the second piece out... but based on this thread, I shall not lol.

Depends on how you use your Z - if you're doing loads of long motorway driving then yes, removing both can get a bit droany...but if you're only doing short runs or long ones on minor roads then I would recommend doing it as it adds to the drama / fun. :evil:
