Sound generator...£212 ?!!

Went to my local BMW stealers... Ordered the parts required for the sound generator. Was quoted £110. A week later I hadn't had a call so nipped in on the way past.... The price was wrong as I gave American part numbers... The actual total is £212!!!
Please can anyone shed light on how much they have paid.
The parts are for a 3.0 but mine is a 2.5si

Please!!! I know I nearly fell on the floor! Yeah the 2.5 part numbers would nbe a godsend!!

Just checked and those were the part numbers that I used... But the stealers said they were American numbers and therefore the price was wrong

Worked fine for me at coopers bmw in teeside, best have a word with your stealer.

The part numbers will be different from those as you has a N52 engine and not a M54, use www.realoem.com to check against your car.

Ordered it last week and fitted it today! Part numbers were different for my car but managed to get all the bit for £120ish nice noise

Nice noise but am not sure I would pay extra for it, certainly not >£100
