Click to expand... I spoke to a bmw techie this morning and he says that the 6 series has a plastic boot lid. Hence it will work while stowed.

Occasionally I see an old Jag with an extendible aerial and I think it looks so old fashioned... getting that way with any form of external aerial to be honest.
