Gave my car a megs 3 step treatment today - took an age - but now it looks so pretty!

And as it was sunny drove to Ashbourne for some roofdown pics:

It was well worth the effort but with it being black by the morning the car will be a dull grey again

Yeah I was amazed that it was a lovely day for a drive - especially as it rained all day yesterday!

Nice.

Were you driving into Measham yesterday with roof down in the (light) rain?

I maybe a little crazy - but not that crazy!

Sepang Bronze is the new Black when it comes to a bit of dust or dried rain making the car look dull and unloved, let me tell you!! :D

Car looks great interior is mint

They car cleaning products in the door pocket ? always take some if i am going out with car and camera

Great snaps of a very shiny car

Gaza - are you not worried of wiping around dirt on the paint? I always want to use some quick detailer on the car when taking snaps in a scenic location but worried some dirt got on the paint on the way there and I will marr it?

You did a great job there aquazi

Ashbourne and on North from there is a favourite area of mine and you picked a great day for a roof down run out

Thanks - yep i do like having the peask on my door step - was a great driving day unlike today! - Now after the rain my car is more like sterling grey!

didnt think to take some quick detailer with me - the gf was nagging to hurry up and leave! The door pockets is just my sunglass case and trusty microfibre for odd spilage - window wipe!

Would not use a QD on the car after driving along dusty roads like in the pics but normal roads on a nice hot dry day if its just brake dust and a few dead flys then i will.

I will really soak the area with QD dab a lot off then turn the cloth to a fresh side and gently buff.

For Le-Mans this year thinking of taking one of these no rinse products.
