I can get an mint pretty much unused hardtop with all the trimmings for £1000! Not going to bother now as thinking about it I'm never going to actually use it and it will just sit in my spare room gathering dust!

I'm never going to use my z4 in the winter as I've not done so in the last 3 years! We have decided not to move home this year so I'll just be continuing using my z4 for sunny weekend only! I'll just use my folding top covers more :)
 
Listing on eBay looks awful too.... Needs much better photos and description! You really need to state no internal covers! :poke:

I think that is slightly too much, IMO. eBay has been, and will be, a different beast than the forum. Prices go for more because there is a larger audience. I think a fair price in sterling grey without lock covers would be between £750-850, regardless of season. Cover and stand add to "saleability", but as both can be bought relatively cheap I'd say £850 is good, bearing in mind condition also. I do think it'll probably reach around £1k on eBay in winter though. GLWTS

Bloody hell really?
I paid somewhere between £550 and £600 for my sterling grey top with trolley stand, two bags and both lock side covers. This was last Summer.
 
7-8 years of idly watching market prices. Each Spring Summer odd bargains are snatched in the £600 area when storage is an issue, each Autumn a new crop of buyers appear and want a roof. Think to top I've seen is £1200 last Winter.
