If you haven't used cruise control, you probably think "what's the point". Not only will you find it easy to keep just under the legal limit but the gentle control of the CC unit helps save fuel. It makes longer journeys a lot more relaxed. The resale value of your car is enhanced as it is a desirable option.
I'm selling a complete cruise control retrofit kit that is suitable for all Z4s (but don't ask me how to fit it to an M).
The kit isn't just the stalk switch, it consists of the stalk, the replacement cowling, wiring loom (needed on post 10/04 cars) and instructions for fitting.
The kit is easy to fit and is a simple DIY job, then just needing to be activated at your BMW garage (about £60).
If you have a car built before 10/04, it is a 5 minute job to fit. If it is post 10/04 it will take more like 30 mins as it is a little more involved, requiring a minor modification to the wiring loom (all parts/instructions included and unless it's an M, I can tell you how to do it).
The kit is an official boxed BMW kit which would cost £150 from BMW. This is available for £100 including postage to mainland UK.
