Hi,

I'm selling my Type 44 Alloys with Nokian WR D3 225/45 17 winter tyres.

I bought the wheels freshly refurbed from Mr Wilks last winter and purchased brand new Nokian winter tyres.

Tyre condition close to new as shown in pictures, and condition of wheels still as I bought them having done approx 1k miles. Selling as I no longer have a BMW.

Just been balanced this morning and ready to be fitted - Centre caps not included.

£400 - collection only from Milton Keynes.

Thats a good deal for anyone considering a good set of winter boots.
How did you find the D3's Raj? I've always run A3's and found them exceptional in snow.

Thanks Chris. I went from 18 inch RFT so anything would feel amazing!! Besides that they were good in cold weather but I didn't really push too hard. Unfortunately never saw a spec of snow though but reviews were very good.

NOTE When I collected the wheels after getting tyres fitted (straight after receiving from Mr Wilks) the fitter commented that 2 wheels had a slight buckle but they balanced out okay. I used these throughout the winter on my Z4 daily and can't say I noticed any issues.

"slight buckle but they balanced ok " i still find this a complete contradiction in terms , imo a wheel will either balance or its buckled :? & virtually every alloy new or used will require at least some balance weights to make it spin true
Whatever a bargain set for someone as those Nokian tyres would be £375 for the 4 :o
I would add some pics of the tyre treads Raj

So just had the wheels checked over this morning and re-balanced. No issues at all and needed less than 1/4 of the weights put on by the original fitter. Annoying given the first time was done at a Mercedes main dealer.

Not the first numpty tyre fitter & won't be the last , can't see why these haven't already sold as they are more than worth the ask imo Raj

I've recently purchased a set of D4s for my winters and they were £450 for the tyres alone, so this is a very good deal. I can only think maybe the colour is putting people off?

Maybe Steve. I personally really like the look. Also when dirty they didn't look as bad as some other colours, so perfect for winter!
