I have this gear lever for sale because the local bodyshop scratched the one on my 2004 BMW Z43.0i. They ordered this to replace it then realised that they had ordered a black one, not a grey one (my Z4 has the rare light grey dashboard and trim, rather than the more popular black - they never checked!). They subsequently got me a grey one and fitted it. They couldn't return the black one to BMW because they ripped open the box, so they gave it to me.
Please note that this is a HEAVY version - it weighs 170g compared to 90g for the standard one (I just weighed them on my kitchen scales). The purpose of the extra weight is to give a smoother more positive, less notchy gear change - it does make a small difference (I know because when the correct colour replacement was ordered it was the heavy version too and it's now on my car).

100% of sales price goes direct from EBay to Cancer Research UK - I don't get my hands on it at all. It is also through Gift Aid, so if it sells for £40, then I understand that the charity actually receives £50.
