So I've now replaced my 108's with 107's and these are therfore now for sale.

They do need a refurb, BUT last week I personally removed and cleaned all 80 bolts, before dabbing with copaslip and replacing. I damaged one thread by overtighening, but this will be getting helicoiled tomorrow as the kit arrived today.

This means that these will EASILY split to enable them to be either painted or powdercoated.

They are nice and straight, with no cracks or repairs. I actually think these are a really nice wheel, but their condition was annoying me!

I didn't realise how well they are made, the rims are much thinner and lighter than the 107's!

Looking for £200 for these, and yes, I know is on the steep side, but these are not going to give you any problems splitting them.

I'm open to offers, but nothing silly as I'll just keep them and get them powdercoated for £20 each at city powdercoatings.

Based in St Helens, 3 mins from J7 M62.

...With all respects and no offence intended:
If I'd taken the time and effort to, split them down and cleaned all the BBS bolt heads. Then, I'd be going that one step further and getting them fully refurbished and re-built..
They'll then achieve a good £300, I'd presume - albeit that depends on the quality of the refurb's I suspect?!

As they are, I would be amazed if you achieved circa £150 :?

Best of luck with the sale..

No offence taken. As I said, if I don't get reasonable money for them, I'll refurb and keep. Just thought someone might like a set that they can have in the colour(s) they prefer.

Hmm, ok. Whats your best price? and will you package them for me to get Courier to collect?

£150, and I'll throw in the set of 7mm taps I bought for £15 to clean the thread holes once they were powdercoated/painted?

No problem packing them either individually or paired.

Can you PM me your address pls. Then i can get a delivery quote.

Tom

Will do, but personally I'd use http://www.ipostparcels.com/ select the extra large parcel option, which will cover 2 wheels strapped together, and it's £9.99vat for next day delivery - I use them all the time.

Won't be able to PM you as you have less than 30 posts - Our shop postcode for collection is WA11 0PQ

Not sure i need the taps.. I work for an engineering company and its taps galore around here...

Go on then - The taps are an odd size though.

Bank transfer preferred, as I use the Wife's Paypal account, don't want her spending it on female stuff!

email me at [email protected] and we can swap details.
