This is a standard wheel, ///M are double padded with soft nappa leather with joins top and bottom, tri colour or black tri stitching and the bottom spoke sits ontop of the wheel instead with the standard ///M badge.
But this is a nice wheel with someone wanting the multi fuction eliment, you can always buy this and get Royals to double pad like a ///M wheel with only the bottom spoke being the diffrence, good price and looks in good nik.
Didnt i sell you a wheel Daz?
Hey Jonny does does this wheel look familiar to you

Hi is this the M Sport version?

Would you be able to help fit?

Thanks

Ash
Hello mate as the others have said no its not a M wheel ,but would be happy to help you fit it, nice and easy mod

Can anyone clarify if you need a professional radio head unit for the functions to work or will they interface with the standard business radio ?

As i have an early car, would this wheel bolt straight on and all functions work? ( i read about early cars having full looms of something) Ash

Mine works with the standard business radio.

So, where exactly does the Bluetooth module live and how will I know if there is one in my car to utilise, with this type of Steering wheel ?

Easy to fit, disconect battery for 30mins, use a flat head screw driver to pop of air bag via the two holes on the too, use a 16mm socket to remove wheel, un plug cables pull and then put new wheel on ensuring its dead centre before you tighten then clip on air bag, reconnect battery.....job done

Not quite, you also need to check if the car has the extra wires in the green plug under the lower SW cowl, if not a retro fit cable from BMW will be required for around £20.

I've done this & I think I did this whole swap in around 3 hours from memory including the wait for airbag circuits to discharge & fitting the retro cable.

If you haven't got bluetooth then it's just a dead button, like in mine.

Still lights up, just has no function. Radio and volume buttons work fine.
