Hi all,

Selling my E86 coupe after just under 4 years of very enjoyable ownership. I bought this directly from Ross at RBM in January 2021 – was his personal car so I knew it was going to be an excellent version of the E86, and so it has turned out to be!

Purchased January 2021 with 78k on the clock. It has mostly been a weekends car for me hence the 2k miles per year added in my ownership, and it stayed tucked up in the garage through the harsh Scottish winters! Has spent most of its life down South – since I’ve owned it I’ve avoided driving it on gritted roads, underbody showing no sign of rust (has been complimented on it’s last 2 MOTs!).

Montego Blue with Individual Champagne Leather interior & piano black trim in great condition. M-Sport heated seats. 108 style wheels – these aren’t perfect, so I’ve included pictures of all 4 wheels. Michelin PS4 all round (non-runflat).

Other options I value (may be some I’ve missed – happy to answer any questions):
- Xenons
- Cruise control
- Bluetooth
- Navigation system professional
- Park Distance Control
- Automatic wipers

I got the waterpump replaced by RBM when I purchased for peace of mind. Also got them to delete the clutch valve at the same time.
Full history to come with the car – more details of what’s in the folder available on request – mixture of BMW and independent garages over the years. Most recent services include:

- September 2023 - 84,600 miles – Service including new front brake discs and pads
- January 2021 – 78,800 miles – New waterpump and clutch valve delete
- July 2020 – 78,500 miles – Inspection 1 service and new front calipers
- MOT valid until February 2025 – only advisory at last MOT was slightly chafed front brake hoses

Completely standard car other than:

- Non run flat tyres – Michelin Pilot Sport 4 all round with about 5k miles on and plenty of tread left.
- Has a stubby aerial (looks better IMO).
- Stubby M-sport gear knob purchased from BMW in 2021 (added weight of it makes the gear shift feel better).
- Clutch valve delete done by RBM when I purchased the car in 2021.

It really is a nice example and would be hard to find a more genuine version however it is 17 years old now so it does have the odd tiny stone chip etc.

Comes with both keys, owner’s manual & had a new battery in 2020.

I’m based in Falkirk, Central Scotland for anyone who wants to view the car.

If I’ve missed anything out please do feel free to ask!

Now reduced to £10,000

Lovely colour and spec GLWS

Yeah, looks like a lovely example... if I ever upgrade to a lower mileage / nicer spec / colours E86 this is damn close to what I'd be looking for.

Upgrading my Mitsubishi Lancer Estate is my priority now. I might get a car for Christmas, and it might even have the exact same engine and the same colour as that E86... but it will have "Touring" in the model name!

More realistically I will end up missing out on what I have my eye on and my mission to find a more comfortable estate will drag on for another 2-3 years!

Anyway, bump for a lovely E86!

That's a lovely looking Coupe with loads of options, some particularly desirable like Xenons, heated seats and Cruise.

But someone really went to town on it. Champagne is Nappa leather which was an option, as was Piano Black trim, 108 wheels, Comfort Package (storage nets, rear parking sensors and cup-holders IIRC), and of course Sat Nav!

GLWTS.

Lovely car in a great colour combo and a comprehensive advert. Glwts.
