SOLD- 35iS Trading in- any last minute takers? *PICTURES ADDED*

Hi all

My 35iS is up for grabs if anyone really is interested in getting one in the next 10 days. It has 19000 miles on the clock and is in metallic mineral grey with black leather interior. I am away emergently overseas due to a family issue for the next 8 days and apologise for not posting any pictures as I just don't have time. Pics are on my thread when I first bought the car 3 years ago. Link: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=55244&hilit=35is+got+it&start=45

Negatives first- my zed has no nav, sorry. MOT done 4 weeks ago- has 2 advisories which are rear brake pads are a little thin (not enough to trigger dash warning light) and there is some damage to the drivers side front tyre rim protector which is tiny- I don't consider this an issue at all.

Positives are:
Full main dealer service history with service inclusive pack to September 2018.
Fully refurbed 19 inch 326 M alloy wheels and calipers recoated in OEM silver.
Bodywork is in excellent condition with G-tecniq C1 crystal laquer coat which has a 5 year lifespan.
Rear tyres are only 6 months old Bridgestone RFTs. Fronts still have over 3mm tread.
Comfort pack
Heated seats
Professional audio

I have a Cayman 718 S on order ETA end of this month. The best trade-in / buy back offer I have is £23000. This will be honoured until October 12th.

Sorry for the lack of pics but it really does look the same as when I bought it.

Cheers JC :D

Tempted but I'd rather have my spec and interior etc than the 40hp. I really hope someone on here takes this because your car is fantastic and would be sad to see go to dealers.

would love to but plan was to get into E85 ownership for a year then think about moving up to E89 and ur motor is EXACTLY the colour and spec i'd be looking at.
I'm going through early trials and tribulations with the E85 but however tempting i can't be tempted to make an early jump yet.
Z5 is round the corner too.....
good luck

:( Wife had a go at me..... here are some hurried pictures in my shabby back yard, apologies! Not super clean and floor mats not vacuumed sorry!

Original 35is floor mats are stored in my loft and are rather clean.

Thanks for responses.

Cheers JC :D

Can you be more specific on the spec?

Does it have DAB, headlining, which speaker system does it have? 14 speaker system?

Anything else it has?

Cheers

One last bump to this thread :D

Tom, did PM more spec details to you but I have seen your latest thread and sadly my 35iS doesn't meet your preferences which I totally respect. I am parting with the car in 4 days to a dealer and it really will be a sad farewell to the best performance car I have ever had the privilege to drive over the last 3 years. I regret not getting nav which I know has been the major sticking point for many potential buyers.

I still sincerely believe £23k is extremely good value so if anyone wants her please do drop me a PM.

Cayman 718 S is due end of October, and yes, it has nav this time but at a scary cost :( (surprised the engine is not an extra at this rate!).

Cheers JC :D

Hi JC, thanks for the PM I did read it but I've been busy flying around trying to get hold of another car which unfortunately didn't pan out.

Thanks for the offer but I'm going to wait for the right one to come up. Really lovely car but I would like a few other bits and pieces!

I also think its a great price and someone will get a great car GLWTS.

Hey Tom

Thanks! Sincerely hope you get exactly what you are looking for- have even had a look around for you. There is one on BMW AUCs in Chandlers Brighton but they are/ asking way too much for it IMHO and 18 inch wheels which I'm afraid is no no for a 35iS vanity victim such as myself. Worth a call perhaps?

Good luck!

Cheers JC :D

Tom! It was easiest option for me and they did keep to their quotation pledge. I got quoted £22610 for it and had I sold a month earlier I could have got £23800 which was my first quotation when the sun was still shining. There was NO trying to barter down the price with the usual BS. I was treated with respect and I would genuinely recommend them if don't want to go through the trials of private selling (I passionately hated it).

Heart wrenching to see such beautiful pictures of it now being offered for £26k but I don't think I did that badly considering..... wait for it..... WBAC offered £19145 and my own Stephen James BMW dealership I originally got the car from and trade in from Porsche both pending inspection (we know what that means) offering £18.5-19k......

I just wish it had nav, 14 speakers and red leather for you! There is a Cayman 718 S on order ETA 3 weeks from Porsche.

Sincerely though, I am sure something even better than what your best expectations are will show up for you.

Cheers JC :D

Mr brewer from wheeler dealers has it now! 26k! Did you get your porky from him?

Tom I had a look at the grey 22k mile 35is at Sytner Nottingham today, wheels are dreadful but the rest of the car looks good, spec is almost what you want, no heated wheel and I don't know which stereo it has but it's a nice car. Food for thought maybe?

The price is good probably because its a flimper. A few seem to be coming up so good signs. TBH I'm leaning toward the 35i they just seem better value and 95% the same car lots more available too.

I bet it was JC, always sad to see them go and tbh really good price.

That quote from BMW is redic.

Berry BMW gave £18.5 for this 35i very well speced but still and 6.5yo car! I nearly bought it privately but I couldn't get there before it was traded rang the dealer and they confirmed thats what they gave.

Its a gorgeous car I'm just too picky, it won't be a weekend car with my commute I spend 2 hours in the car a day so want to be somewhere I really want to be! The toys are as important as the engine.

Bet you can't wait to pick up the Cayman I think Porsche have done such a great job with them! Would have one in a heartbeat!
