I've got the following 17" staggered tire set up for sale:

Continental ContiProContact (staggered setup)

Front tires are 225/45 R17 (fits rim widths 7.5" to 9")
Rear tires are 245/40 R17 (fits rim widths 8" to 9.5")

Tread depth remaining ~9/32" for all tires.

Tires were manufactured in Sept 2007 (DOT 3607 & 3707). I've had them from last November, and they've got ~4000 miles on them. Tires have never been kerbed.

Priced when new = $552 (reference: Tire Rack)
I'm asking $300 o.b.o. Local pickup (Seattle, WA) is preferred, but will deliver at buyer's cost.

Thanks for looking! Please PM if interested.

They are Grand Touring All Season Tires (non-runflats). Pretty comfortable ride with low noise.

Gotcha. I'm starting to look for a dedicated winter set-up for my M already. Will probalby just get 18" RGR's & snow tires to go along.

Did they come off of your C300? Good luck with the sale.

As far as dedicated Winter tires go, I'm running Dunlop SP Wintersport M3 tires, and they're great. Didn't have to really "use" them last winter, but glad the performance is there when I need it.

As for the Continentals up for sale, they handle pretty well. They're non-runflats, so that means no tramlining issues. And they're Uniform Tire Quality Grade (UTQG) rated at 400 AA A. These tires will go a long way before needing replacements.

So how about it... any takers?

Well, I tried to compensate for shipping by offering a lower price for the tires (was originally hoping to rid them for $400, but was sure I'd get laughed at).

If you are serious about taking on these tires, I'm willing to work with you on the shipping. May have to go the snail mail route, but you'd get a great deal nonetheless. :)

BTW, cheapest I could find was ~$40/tire shipping = ~$160 to your ZIP.

Fedex is probably the cheapest when it comes to shipping tires/wheels. (ask me how I know :D) You can sign up for an account first and get extra discount as well. I shipped my last set of wheels to southern california for a little over $70; this is for a set of tires & rims.

West Coast shipping is dirt cheap compared to cross-country shipping to the East or SouthEast Coast. Too bad ACEZ4 isn't closer.

Unfortunately the weight savings of not shipping wheels with tires don't amount to anything since they look at overall size of goods (which is essentially the same +/- wheels).

Speaking of shipping, this is how the tires will be shipped (for those interested):

They will be shipped in the bags shown above. Pressure sensitive tape will be applied around the opening of the bag so that the tires stay inside the bag. Pressure sensitive tape will be applied through the donut hole of the tire where the shipping label will be affixed.

Kinda like this (except in a bag):

Bump for a great seller! I bought a set of stock tires from Rick before and they were 100% true to the descriptions.
