Softtop interior plastic trim issue / question

Hiya, so on my facelift LHD 3.0Si I've got an issue with the plastic trim on the inside of the softtop rattling / being looser than it should be on the driver's side (so left in my case). Seems like there's some internal fasteners or clips that have broken. I've had a look but can't find a way to separate it from the roof itself without taking the entire roof apart.
The part I'm talking about is the piece of plastic at the front of the roof, very specifically the plastic piece marked '3' in the diagram below.

Any suggestions? Would trying to inject some soft of glue or bonding agent to try and stick it back to whatever it let go of damage the roof?

Is this causing the inner liner above your head or passengers head to sag? Curious to see some answers from others on solution

No, inner headliner is just fine. It's purely the piece of plastic that's loose and rattling right above my head. That piece has about a 1/2 cm gap at the extreme side (above the door window) compared to the other side.
Other than that, top is cosmetically speaking in perfect condition :(

If you open the roof half way then stop the motion, you will see that, on the edge there is where the liner is screwed on. The chances are it has cracked around 1 or 2 screws. You can take the screws out, lift the liner slightly and smear some bonding underneath. Super glue the broken pieces from around the screws, wait until the super glue has cured then screw back in.

Hope this helps, Cheers, tug
