Softtop and Auto locking not working

Hi all,

Quick intro; wife had massive spec Cooper S until i drove my brother's 3.0 Sport Roadster - Mini sold and 3.0 Sport Roadster in Monaco Blue and Cream Nappa replaced it. What a great car.

Had it just over a week, missus has driven it twice as I seem to grab the key most of the time (its more fun than DIESEL BMW 3 series).

ADVICE PLEASE; Had to replace cigarette lighter fuse as a USB lead dropped onto it and shorted it out a couple of days ago. Downloaded fuse listing from forum, thanks - F5 - and now all well.

Mrs jumped in the car tonight for second drive - roof switch lights up YELLOW, the roof wont go down and also the auto locking function doesnt work either. Tried dropping the roof on the key but this doesnt work either.

Checked the position of the "receiver" of the hood in the boot, but looks present and correct.

Any ideas?

Roof - Yellow light means the shelf in the boot is up. Should be two round plastic knobs at either side at top of boot. Turn them to raise/lower thee shelf. It needs to be down for the roof to work as it folds into the space above the shelf.

Wife out in car so trying to "fix" issue from afar over the phone - unsuccessfully! She says the boot shelf is in the down position but will have a go later this eve assuming she who must be obeyed returns from joy riding. :driving:

Just posted photo in Sept comp to prove the roof does work, well did! Will sort later. Some great photo's especially the RAF biased shot - cant compete with that backdrop!
 
Drrrrrrrr simple fix!! Moved the boot shelf once without any benefit, moved it a few times with a bit more enthusiasm and bobs ye uncle, fixed. :thumbsup:

Will check out auto locking when it next goes out - tucked up in garage now. THANKS for help...
 
Autolock should be coded in order to work.
