Soft top cleaning and restoration

Hi,

I am new to this forum and have just purchased a 2021 Z4. The car is in great shape, but the convertible top has discoloration or damage to it. See the photos. For a rather newer car, this is concerning, and I am hoping someone is able to assist with how to correct this type of problem. I just ordered a bottle of Forever Black Soft Top Restorer on Amazon and after reading the mixed reviews, I am concerned this product will not correct the problem. Note: this car was purchased in South Florida if that provides any hint to how this happened. Thanks in advance.

Hi, welcome to the forum, I think this happens due to the roof being folded. I don’t believe it is damage, it just gets these marks.

Also when it is folded when wet, which makes it worse. But then being Florida, guess that only happens after washing the car.

Thank you for the tip. I have ordered some Renevo and I hope it does the restoration and removes the discoloration. I will report back on results, so others are aware.
