Mine - Hyundai i45 courtesy of Europcar.

What an absolute piece of junk. Every single component I could see and sense gave the impression it was the cheapest they could possibly find. A horrible motoring experience.

Hyundai i30 - also a coutesy car.

What I liked:

iPod connectivity as standard. Good stereo. Spacious, looked quite good actually.

What I didnt like:

Poor build quality, tinny, plastic all round. Lame 1.4 engine (my Mrs has a 1.2 Clio which feels faster). Felt cheap, and probably was.

To be fair, for low budget, it would be a good car.... Just happens to be the worst car I've driven in the last 12 months

My mates P reg 1.4 astra LS in gold with beige velour interior and over 100K on the clock!

Exactly the same as this one..

My Z4.... only joking :P

Has to be the chrysler boat of a car I had in the states... which looked like this one:

The Work Shed - a Ford Focus 1.6tdci Estate. Completely base spec, zero power, uncomfortable seats, terrible gear change and I think the interior was designed for highly visually impared folk - every button is massive and there is some kind of stereo control on the left of the steering wheel that only has 4 buttons but its about the size of a dinner plate. Complete Crap.

My wife's new Passatt - massive, heavy car with a piddly eco-eingine, no torque, no pull from standing start... and one of those crappy electronic parking brakes

MY old Peugeot 306 XLD now long gone.

It was cheap, did 54mpg and saved me putting tons of mileage on the Z4 though. :D

My wifes megane dynamic, poor build quality, and when you put the foot down nothing happened. Strangely enough it was also the worst car I drove in the previous 12 months as well. But she loves it.

Mmmmm tricky one on the one hand it could be the Renault Symbol I drove this time last year in Tunisia gutless, cramped POS but at least it went round corners without feeling like it wanted to crash all the time unlike the Dodge Avenger I have just been driving in the states which despite a 2.4l engine the slush box also made it feel gutless and felt like it had a hinge in the middle of it.
Think the Renault takes the honour in hindsight it really was a loathsome piece of cr@p.

A Nissan Micra 1.3 which I had as a loan car for 3 weeks last summer. What a POS that was. The exterior design made me nauseous everytime I set eyes on it. It did though have a very good colour Sat Nav as standard which put some much more luxurious car brands efforts to shame.

a 10 seater SUV in California. I had to drive it from LA to Vegas (4.5 hours) and had to keep correcting the steering as it swad side to side. The brakes also overheated. I was going to Vegas so could give two sh!ts at the time though! lol

Kia Picanto. Not an outright bad car as it felt well built and rode well enough. It was just totally gutless and had the most stupily over-assisted steering I've ever experienced. Decent around town but utterly diabolical everywhere else, unsurprising given it's primarily a supermini designed for town driving...

My Triumph TR4 , i sold it to by the Z4, it rattled, was bone hard, had no heater, the wipers would,nt work even with new wiper motor, you just fell of the seat when taking a bend,it leaked and had gaps everywhere, when driving the Z4 for the first time even with runflats with all the tramlining and road noise i though i was in a Rolls Royce.
To be fair it was 50 yrs old but was truly awful to drive.
So dont ditch the runflats just take a drive in a classic car and save your money. :D

A Chrysler Sebring Convertible in the US. The only damned convertible car the hire car place had available. Nasty, plastic (incl plastic roof) gutless, ugly...

Chrysler Sebring, how much did I hate thee, let me count the ways.... Nope. Still counting.

Having only driven 3 cars in the past 12 months (a change from the dozens I used to drive), and with all 3 of them mine it's a tough choice....

Alpina Roadster S -Er, no
Alpina D3BiTurbo - Definitely not
Astra 2l Dti Shooting Brake (2001) - has to be, although it does nothing wrong for what it is

I'm test driving the new F30 next Monday, though, so you never know, there could be a new 'loser' :P

Corsa SRi hire car from Stansted. I was it'd first hirer and had high hopes when I was told it was an SRi. Back in my yoof anything with an SRi badge was desirable and quick. Now I'm guessing the badge has become a trim level and has no meaningful relationship to what's under the bonnet because this thing was :censored:

2012 BMW 318D Auto... Soooo boringgggg! It feels like I have nothing to do! It didn't even feel like I was driving or going round corners!
