Finishing the oil filter housing seals I had a quick check under the car with all trays removed , found plenty of oil which was a concern , upon closer inspection it appeared sump /crank seal could be the culprits. Check sum bolts Christ they were slack !! I know they are usually 8ftlbs plus 90deg but these were definitely not that , so nipped them all up hoping that’s the cause of the leak , so check yours
 
Sump and front of gear box wet with oil.
But a small amount goes a long way.
Belly pan had layer for about year plus before mot tester pointed it out.
