So erm...My strut brace just came apart in my hands!

yeah i still live at home for now. i will be moving out in the not too distant future.

i totally understand getting on the property ladder and if you have to sacrifice the car for a house its worth while IMO. were young whipper snappers at the minute, plenty of time for flash motors! :P
 
God that strong strut looks like a right heath robsinson piece of kit! Wouldnt want that under my bonnet :thumbsdown:

BMW's own cross brace looks the part, and keeps everything OE.

Any half decent welder should be able to fix that, it's not rocket science, but does need some careful prep work. If there's any steel fabricators near you ask them, all the fabricators I know will beat a garage welder hands down.
