Don't mean to doubt you, but are you sure that's 35%. :| I know the colors are going to vary depending on different companies that make the film, but I've tried 50% and 20%, and even 20% is nowhere near as dark as that. The picture looks more like 10~15% to me.

I ordered 35%, the package said 35%. I guess only the 'others' know for sure.

I tinted my tails but the quality is kind of crappy they come on and off without adhesive so if I get too harassed by the cops I can just take them off.

I have been looking where I can get those reflectors tinted...

I don't want to be the wet towel here but, those DO seem a bit dark to me, darker then 35% - but it's really hard to tell just on photos on the internet. They would only raise my eyebrows if you were speeding or had some other probable cause. I do like a darkened tint a bit personally, but they draw perhaps unnecessary attention to yourself, not to mention other then personal preference, they serve no purpose. But, I do like them!

I checked their website they claim their "lighter" tint is 20%, and their "darker" tint is 35%, which leads me to believe they have NO clue what they're talking about and makes me wonder about their professionallism.

The percentage of tint refers to the percentage of light that can transfer through. 35% tint means 35% of the light can transfer through. 20%, which is deaker, means 20% of light can transfer through. 5% is limo tint. 100% would be clear.

35% means lighter lights OUT from your tail lights

I wanted to add that they look best on silver/titanium colored vehicles. OK on others, but the silver.... :wub:
