smg question

Hi all

I went to my car this morning, unlocked it as usual but not sound of the pump priming :? Car drives fine, no issues selecting gears :?
Is it the start of a problem?? Only things i have done differently.
1. Taken the bonnet switch apart and reassembled as the alarm kept going off.
2. Drove it using the paddles the day before which i dont usually do.

Anybody got any ideas?

Problem solved. I took the bonnet sensor apart over the weekend and refitted it as the alarm kept on going off. It must be fucked as i have just taken it back off and there you have it, the pump can now be heard priming itself.
New bonnet switch needed me thinks.

Glad you got that sorted. I must remember this for future reference. How come you don't use the paddles ? I tend to use the stick at slow speed/traffic/town or when getting 'crossed up' whilst making progress. Otherwise it's both hands on the wheel and click away on those paddles....love it !

I think it feels more involved using the stick but like thst i have both options.
