SmartTOP STLFBW3 FOR SALE

Hi All,

I'm reluctantly having to part with my white Z4 sdrive35is, for the ridiculous price of £23,500 to BMW... :(

Anyway, this means I am also selling my SmartTOP roof controller which is only 2 months old. It's the latest version which has the rounded edges, not the old type with sharp corners.

If anyone is interested I looking for £250 + paypal fees = £256.25 including free delivery to anywhere in the UK only. I will also ship worldwide, but this will be at an agreed additional cost.

If anyone is interested in looking at my Z4 i'm selling, please go to the following link by cut and pasting the following: http:/Bmw-z4-35is.weebly.com Also, if anyone is interested in purchasing the car you'll have to be quick as BMW are visiting me today (23/01/2014) to appraise the vehicle to approve the price agreed, but will probably take a few days to complete. I can't believe how much these have depreciated since the end of August, when I bought this for £30,500...

If anyone is interested please contact me on this thread, or call me on 07974 322 220. Location is Camberley, Surrey.

Best regards, Jamos

Personally I think that's a bit pricey for the smarttop if you want to sell it... They're £280 brand new (that's what I paid for mine from PCCGB). GLWTS tho.

Hi Manic,

I paid £245 + £60 import duty from the states, totaling £305 and mods4cars UK distributor wanted £360... Buying from the States sounded like a good idea, but I forgot about the import duty...

I would also be open to reasonable offers.

Best regards, Jamos

Hi Manic,

I had to Google what GLWTS means. Am I right in what I found "Good luck with that s**t"... Or is it something else?

Aah... also just found "Good luck with that sale"... LOL I did think the first one was a bit harsh... :)

Good luck with the SALE :)

I've double checked on the SmartTop pricing too and its £322 new here: http://www.ppcgb.com/shop/styling-and-accessories/electrical-gadgets/smart-top-modules/vid-31019

So it looks like I got mine at a discount somehow, or the prices have gone up.

Good luck with the sale, don't sound a bad offer to me £23,500 take it your's is a 2010 same as mine, I paid £26k for mine in early October from a BMW Dealership, it was up for £28k but knocked them down, as a matter of interest I did a We Buy Any Car valuation on it £12,100 was the offer, don't think they wanted it lol

I'd love one of these modules but need to buy a 35i (is) first.

Just for reference, I've just checked on fleabay and these are £250 new from UK seller, no import duty !

They're £250+vat (check the VAT) usually, but if you can find one for £250 inc vat with no import duty then that's a steal.

Hi Mick J,

That's really funny, as I looked at the car you bought when I was looking for one myself, but the red leather I decided was an acquired taste... (no offence intended here :) ) and I think it didn't have cruise control, but did have the Pro Sound which must be awesome if the standard sound is anything to compare by. So I ended up paying through the nose at the end of August and the so called face lift coming out and now being hammered by depreciation... Also, why did BMW never include the option of Adaptive Cruise Control on the Z4, as it's a must have with the amount of traffic we have in this country, standard cruise is virtually pointless if you live anywhere near London...

Also, I thought that the 35is would have held it value more, like the E85 Z4M, as 35is is supposedly meant to be the E89 Z4M equivalent. But this obviously shows how powerful the "M" part is to people.

Oh well. Maybe at some point in the future they'll re-release the M version and I when I'm financially better offer again, maybe i'll reinvest :)

Chester2000 - Many thanks for correcting your post.

Hi JF

That's a coincidence, yes you are right it don't have cruise control but I can live with that, yes the sound system is very good and very loud (14 Spkrs) Red leather is an acquired taste but I had it in my M3 so was used to it and we (the wife) thought the colour combo went well together, to be honest I went in there looking to buy a M3 Vert but that caught our eye lol.

I did notice that car for sale. The price turned me off so I was hoping it would sit about for a couple of months then be priced to sell.

I'm guessing it will pop up on the BMW AUC site at a similar price if they are giving you £23500 for it.

Blooming heck. That's a good deal. I could be tempted.
If you're quick, they have an extra 10% off for Black Friday, using the code SAVE10. It expires on Sunday (29th). It brings the price down to £204.17 delivered.

I've just bought one.

Pretty good offer so I thought I'd take it up.......not having much joy using their website though!!
I've pinged them a mail and hopefully they'll uphold the weekend deal when I order tomorrow.
Just in time for the snow
