What does it do?

If it’s anything like the Gaptech module I have, allows roof opening/closing with a couple of presses of the key fob. Also full opening/closing with a couple of seconds press of the interior buttons, rather than keeping the button held for the entire process.

Googling the part number it has a few advantages over others like the gaptech. It's plug and play and you can lower the roof at a speed you set upto 40kmh.

Settings can be changed (it seems) using the head unit.

If I didn't have a gaptech then I would be buying this. Seems a step up but not enough to replace what I already have.

Mechanical sympathy prevents me opening or closing the roof on the move and I'm too tight to swap that much money for a couple fewer seconds holding the button down. :rofl:

I think my last zed had one of these fitted and being able to open / close the roof in slow traffic was surprisingly useful!

My roof is 99% of the time down as if it is raining, the car is not coming out anyway. I had them in the previous two cars, was a nice feature but I used to use those more for trips away where you would open and close

I’ve found it nice to be able to park up, press the buttons for roof closure and just walk away. Although I still have a cheeky look over my shoulder, just in case! :lol:

Maybe crawling along..10mph max, but that's a big ol wind sock.

At least i have not had to swap out the roof motor to the boot
