SmartTOP Question

Lets say you already coded your E89 for windows, side view mirrors and open convertible top, do you need to undo those code before installing SmartTOP? And does SmartTOP have it's own keyfob or does it work via your BMW key?
 
SmartTop will work anyway, no matter what codings you already have. All you need is a laptop with the software that they supply and you then do whichever setting you desire. If something doesn't work the way it is expected then just alter the setting. It's all very simple and easy to do.
And it works with the original BMW fob :thumbsup:
