The air was so clear today I could see the Exmoor clear as a bell, from the center of Dartmoor.![]()
This is the guy, on the left in the corner![]()

Lots to see and do in the area : the Tor and Abbey, Wearyall Hill, Chalice Well, nearby Cheddar Gorge, Wells Cathedral etc. Plenty of good pubs and campsites. Most summers I go down to Cornwall and always look across to my left (east) whilst driving down the M5 through the Somerset Levels, hoping to catch a glimpse of Glastonbury Tor way-off in the distance. Stopped off on the way back a couple of years ago for 3 nights and had a great time. The kids loved it. According to legend King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table are entombed asleep beneath the Tor ready to awake and return at 'Englands hour of greatest need'....surprised he didn't make an appearance during the recent General Election !![]()

Not yet. It's on my to do list hopefully next time. Not Arthurian but I wouldn't mind a look round the Fleet Air Arm Museum which is also in that neck of the woods![]()
