Smart top roof module group buy? Price update on page 2

I've been looking at getting myself one of these and was wondering if there was any more interest from the forum, I'm happy to organise a group buy provided enough people commit. I've looked through some old posts and last time someone approached the suppliers PPCGB they offered around £50 off but obviously can't say for sure just yet what they would offer this time.

Not really the weather for it just at the moment but hope it's not too long till you're well enough to get out and make the most of it.

It's a shame these are so much more expensive than the gaptec modules for the e85

Strange, I've just clicked onto it and it works for me! It's a little black box that plugs in your boot that allows you to remote controle the roof functions and one touch operations too. :google: or have a look on youtube for "Z4 smart top module" and there are a few videos on there that give a good demonstration of what it does.

Smart top for e89 I do believe there is a smart top for e85

This morning's download speed was less than 1.0 .... ok now and the link worked. A black box that goes in the boot and costs £250 so you can lower your roof with your key fob ... OK ... :|

Your avatar is an e85, is that your car? The smart top is only for the e89 I'm afraid. The gaptech is the best one for the e85.

Yes I know it's more than double the gaptech price, it's plug an play iirc goes behind trim behind passenger seat, but it does exist

And my avatar is of my old coupe, so that would have been a wasted purchase. Ha
