Smart roadster coupe

Just discovered a few pics of my old smart roadster lurking in the depths of my phone, surprisingly addictive with its 699cc turbocharged triple engine & 6 speed sequential box.
It was surprisingly nippy as it only weighed around 800kg and the 80hp engine was enough to give a spirited drive, very frugal on petrol as well & I often averaged high 50's mpg, an ECU remap took it from 80hp to 100hp and gave stronger acceleration & a top speed of 120 leptons :)
I'm glad I experienced one but beware of expensive electrical problems caused by water leaks!

The roadster or me?

We had one of those next door, several years back. Looked nice enough. Bought, along with the house, by a BAe skipper, for his trolly dolly. I think he went back to his wife after several months shacked up next door. I know how you lot love a bit of gossip. Any how cute little car.

Economy class perchance? :D

I had one too a start roadster though. It was loads of fun to drive and stick to the road well but every 7000 miles it was back at Mercedes to have an oil Service and an ecu replaced as they had a design fault where rain would get in and make it do strange things.
