Small pull in fabric

Hi all noticed today a small pull in the fabric on top of the gutter part above the door-whats my best plan of action? leave it or try to put a sealer on it to stop it getting worse?-thanks

I'd say as long as it isn't going to snag, try not to worry as the waterproof part is the middle layer

Don't cut it whatever you do

There's a slight scuff on mine only visible up close as if something sharp has come in contact at some point it's about 2 inches long and up close looks like a row of tiny bobbles. Was a little worried about it when I first got the car thinking it may fray or get worse but nearly a year on with loads of roof ups and downs it is exactly the same.

Just forget about it. :driving:

I think if there's any loose ends, try to tuck them under a loose cross weave, then keep it in place with a small dab of super glue. Be very careful to not damage the underlying membrane. The missus or gf may have a ball point sewing machine needle for use on knits could be a good tool since it's not quite as sharp. Despite the name, it's still pretty sharp, so be very careful.

The twill fabric is fairly good at resisting runs and fraying, so just leaving it alone is a viable option as well.
