Was tinkering yesterday and decided to see how the 3M carbon look wrap would work, so removed the easiest panel and had a go...I must admit I do like it...thanks Ranski!

Looking good ! 8)

Does that part just prise off? Was thinking of doing something similar with mine
Yes the gaiter just pops out followed by the surround. Just pull out plug on back of hazard switch (remember to push in little nib before pulling plug). Don't need to remove gear knob either! Found the wrap really awkward to use at first then remembered hair dryer was needed. You can then mould it around the compound curves...really easy with a bit of patience

Thankyou

looks good even though carbon wrapping isn't my thing, doing it well can be tricky.

off topic, but do you have a lazer jammer or 'garage door opener'? (mounted on the passenger side air vent)

No it's an air freshener...albeit a very expensive BMW one (saw me coming I think)

nice, where did you get the gaitors from?
From an eBay seller Topgaiters. Have a look in the 'Gallery' section for 'Luke and his Z' where they are shown. They are actually black with silver stitching just the camera flash makes them look grey! £17.99 each
