Small hole in roof - options

Today I noticed a small hole in my roof (see pictures below). It is where the top of the window meets the fabric.

Do you guys reckon I may be able to get this repaired? Alternatively any suggestions how I may be able to repair it myself?

If I decide to replace my roof in the long run, is it possible to just replace the outer fabric and is it possible to do it yourself or will I have to go to a specialist?

I think it would be a major job to re-skin the roof, try a bit of fabric glue mixed with some silicon to hold it together. Apply it slowly with a cocktail stick or similar so it doesn't get too messy.

Its so small how did you notice it?

I noticed a small white dot above the window in my rear mirror. At first I thought it was just dirt but then I noticed how the colour of the hole changed from blue to white as I drove. I looked again and it turned out to be a small hole. The colour change: blue skies and clouds lol

Thanks for the tip. May try that. I also found some canvas glue on ebay, does anyone have experience with such a product?
