Slow running - NOW FIXED (so stop beating me ...)

Today, it is taking minutes to load the forum. Is this relating to the thread from CJ about the posting problem?

My issue is purely clicking on the URL and the site takes a loooooooooooooong time before it displays. Clicking on new posts, the same again.
 
Since I posted it, it has improved. Maybe Sp3ctre has given me more bandwidth :D
 
No problem here, but I've gone to the Dark Side.

I was performing maintenance on the server over the weekend so that may explain an hour or so slow running...

If any of you encounter the site being unusually slow please do let me know. If nobody points it out then there is not a lot I can do about it.
 
I did ... but it took 10 minutes to post the original question. All seems fine now though.
 
pvr, I found it really slow earlier today too, but I was connecting from work and assumed that it was the firewall encouraging me to return to work stuff instead. Think that's the first time ever had any probs though :thumbsup:
 
Drop me a PM if you experience slowness again. If I can get to it when it is slow then I will be able to figure out what the issue is.

I know the feeling, I get the same at work users moan something not working right, but never bother to tell me.
