SLO2 Rally August 11th - North meets South in California

Hi, Just wanted to inform there was demand for an annual North meets South in San Luis Obispo California scheduled for August 11th. Below are the details.

I've got room's reserved at Paso Robles Inn for Saturday night the 11th of August. $175.00 but if you are a CSAA member you may be able to get it for less. Send me a pm and I can give you the confirmation number etc.

If we meet in Arroyo Grande at 10:30 or 11:00 its half way. I have found 2 deli's on mapquest that we can grab sandwiches at J J's Market-Svc Deli,2792 S Halcyon Rd, Arroyo Grande, 805-489-7553 or at Los Berros Market & Deli, 2021 Los Berros Rd, Arroyo Grande, CA 805-474-4149.

I'm hoping that Ward and Vroomer can come up with a route for after lunch. I have a winery that has facilities for us to have our picnic lunch at. I don't want to publish the route. We can pm this info. After lunch it will be up to the men to route us.

Men do you have the route worked out?

I've been grounded that weekend. We're going live with oracle (no more friday nights on the phone with india) and they want me for some reason to be ready to "fix" any problems that come up as we test through the weekend and the time zones.

August is going to suck, I have to be in Tempe for 5 days as well.
 
Gosh darn, one step forward 2 steps back. We need Yal, IMZ4N and Vroomer there.

Don't worry, we'll wait until we can all potentially make it....then its just the last minute things that cause cancellations. Whats a meeting without the whole gang there anyways?

Its looking like Vroomer was right....its looking like September...just did a spreadsheet(no laughing) on availability and events that may impact like the Reno Air Races and Hot August Nights...and it looks like Aug 24th, Sept 7, 21 or 28. Please reply with what you can't do and we'll go from there.

Youz CA guyz better shape up here and respond to this or else. The California contingent was much more responsive on Z4um that I thought it may need it's own forum. Support your Z4 runs or be like that club in North Dakota.... :yawn: :zzzz:

I wish I lived closer to your west coast day/weekend runs, they always have great routes and things to see!

Sheesh, move out here!

Just looking at Rosie and SoCal's avatars should be reason enough!

I typically work 60 to 70 hours a week, so my schedule is always in flux. I just got an e-mail from my boss asking if I wanted his help in some work this weekend. Hell, i'm on mandatory vacation this weekend and I'm still expected to work?
