Have you met Stark? He sold his 35i to Jimbo for a SLK 350, he is now back in a Z4.

There's an old dear round here, well into her 70s who drives one. Interesting choice for a lady of that age, I've never seen the roof down on it but see her driving to Tesco in it. Lass at works mum drives a SLK55 too.

I'm yet to see a bloke drive one. Even the matt black sl55 AMG at work is driven by a woman in her late 40s :lol:

Yep, same here...there are two 55's near me, both driven by middle aged women (both pretty tidy though). I'm sure it's a hoot to drive for a weekend, but not a full time proposition...

I like the look of these things but the auto box only and entry price puts me off the older ones. One of those vs a Z4MC is a "no brainer" to me.

I was looking at these before I got my Z4M.

I never got round to driving one; I fear the sound of that V8 would have me hooked. My fear with them was the auto box (it's no 8-speed ZF) and that interior - full of scratchy plastics that aren't deserving of a Merc. And, with the roof down, there's not a lot of boot space, although if it's your second car this is less of a problem.
