So tomorrow is round two of BMW South Africa's skid pan competition. Would like to do well in my z4mr.
Any tips?

dsc off.... nice bit stab of initial power, set the car up on the throttle at a nice even RPM and ride that bad boy out!!! 338 hp should do this really easily!! i find the z4m nice and controllable ONCE the slide is in progression, the getting their feels sometimes a little rough...

Pump the rears right up but leave the fronts low to reduce the understeer

Ended fourth. Not bad considdering the winner owns a skid pan and most of all the other top guys are advanced driving instructors. Challenged the winner to a duel afterwards. Blue M Coupe vs Silver M Roadster. And I won in the Roadster. Awesome day. Will post pics a.s.a.p.

hmmmm im not seeing more drift day their... looks more like drive @ 5mph around a wet car park!!!!

I dont really get it - the aim was to grip drive around the cones or to drift smoothly around them?
I wouldnt be able to stop myself from sliding around it
