After just over 1200 miles in my new slc 43 amg I have noticed a burning smell and visible smoke occasionally , I'm a little disappointed to say the least but as it only happens when I'm driving I got a mate to take a couple of pics to see if we could identify the problemimage.jpeg[attachment=0]image.jpeg

 tell me your not laughing ?
It's just a little harmless fun by a 51 year old , I thought this site needed livening up a little , there's more to life than polishing gloves and wheel braces :driving:

WELL! I'm disgusted!, I thought this was a sensible forum for sensible BMW owners, not Merc hooligans :poke:
Looks like new tyres are required

I was surprised when the traction control is turned off it actually is off , also the gearbox will not change up or down in manual mode , holds onto them until the driver decides to change .
There's no burnout mode though so I did it old school , traction off , hold in first and work the brake against the throttle until the tyres break loose then black lines as long as you want , or until you consider how much the tyres will cost , factory lsd helps too :Dimage.jpeg

Brilliant OP!

Just keep on having problems and telling us about them!

Tyre manufacturer sponsorship might also be useful for you! :driving:

 worst thing is , if you asked on any other car forum but here or the slk site they would post that as being representational of a drag race by owners of z4s and slks .
