Well I managed to get down to The Atkinson Centre on Saturday morning and then walked up to Princes Park on the promenade where the Aintree Circuit Club had organised a very eclectic display of cars as part of the anniversary celebrations. The record breaking Sunbeam Tiger and ex-Grand Prix Sunbeam Cub looked great. There were period posters on the walls and a cabinet with Segrave/L.S.R memorabilia on display. The cars would have benefited from some better lighting but otherwise the photos I took came out reasonably well. A great day out and I was so pleased I felt well enough to go. Enjoy !
