Silver 3.0Si Roadster with Pearl Grey leather

Just recently bought this, so thought I would share some pictures I took after giving the car a good clean inside and outside :

Great looking a zed and the pearl grey goes well with the silver ,I've got the same colour seats in my coupe

Love it - your wheels have a similar/same finish as mine.... and that interior colour really suits the car

Thanks everyone :D

Must admit the interior was one thing I wasn't entirely sure on but has had a lot of good comments. I'd still love a dark red one mind you!

Very Tidy.
Its very unsettling looking at peoples new cars................................. Why is the grass always greener?

Errrrm, yeah so the ownership of this particular car proved to be a lot shorter than intended.

1 day and 17 miles after having the front brakes replaced again (supplying dealer had just replaced them prior to me collecting the car with cheap stuff and after much arguing agreed to replace them for a proper brand that didn't squeal and permanently bind on when hot) approaching a roundabout we suffered brake failure, as in pedal flat to the floor and nothing happened.

Whilst avoiding the cars coming round the roundabout, I wasn't able to fully avoid the roundabout and hit the kerb, before being propelled up an embankment and into a field. Scary looking back how it could've turned out a lot worse, as it was we both walked away with just minor whiplash. No other vehicles damaged but sadly the Z was a total loss and has been categorised as a Cat C so it might see the road again! Apparently the drivers side is very twisted and out of alignment, almost bent under itself the vehicle assessor said.

Anyway, a few pictures of a slightly mangled Z :|

It's fair to say that Z4's don't like offroading...

After such an accident, it made you realise just how small the interiors are and how vulnerable you can be, not one to dwell on things but it could've been a lot more serious if I hadn't avoided the oncoming car or the roundabout, I'm not sure we would have walked away so unscathed.

Glad you are OK. Is the insurance company looking into the brake failure with regard to the work done the previous day.

If they are and i hope they are, and its proved the garage was at fault they should pay out and be taken to court.

what are you doing with the sport seats then???? :o

no, no... sorry, glad you're OK.....could have been much worse

PM me about the seats...

Oh no that is awful. Such a shame as it was a nice looking car. Sounds like it could be bad workmanship on the brakes.

You are OK and thats the main thing. A car can be replaced.

Cant believe the vultures are already circling (on that note - first dibs on the lights if the car is written off ha ;-) )

Hope this is getting sorted and the garage that done the brakes are dragged across hot coals.

Real shame it was a beautiful zed. But the most important thing your both ok. It looks much worse than the phone picture you sent!!
