Sill gasket strip?

Hi lads, I'm new around these parts and don't have much of a clue.

These sill seal thingies have went wonky and I'm looking to replace them.

Spent a half hour trying to Google them and finally come up with a listing for £18 each (and there out of stock) , for what is just a bit of rubber like you'd get along a shower door!

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I'm thinking there must be a bodge for this, some kind of generic rubber strip that will do the exact same job for pennies.

Good find!

That's not 100% correct but it's not far away.
It'll probably do the job fine.

There is absolutely no way I'm paying bmw over £40 for two 700mm long strips of rubber!

hi you could try glazing rubber strips at a couple of pounds a mtr there pretty pliable and should provide a good seal comes in various thickness might be worth a shot :!:

If none of the above solutions work you might get something suitable from here

https://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/
They supply all sorts of trim, seals and materials to car restorers and kit car builders.

Thanks for l the help lads.

Like I said, the strip in question isn't even shaped - you'd think it would be the cheapest thing on the car to replace!
