Sidelight bulbs to match HID's

Hi fellow zedders.

Now its getting dark of an evening I've noticed that the sidelights in the headlamp assembly look like yellow candles compared to the HID's has anyone changed these bulbs to something producing a cooler whiter light?

I'm not sure if it uses W5W bulbs as indicated on http://www.powerbulbs.com/bulb_finder.asp?cat1=39&make_id=6&model_id=903&year_id=903&bulb=4

Are they easy to change?

Easy to change but quite steep for 2 bulbs. I presume, as with all other BMW's that changing to LED's would bring up the error on the OBC.

Requires some resistors to get it to work properly i think but LED's definitely look the best.

I changed all the bulbs on my old E46 to these bluevision bulbs inc. interior lights. Wish i'd swapped them back when i sold.

I changed the side markers with clear LED which light up as amber. Cleaner look as it got rid of the "egg yoke" look. I did the same in the hamburgers with no errors.

You put LED in your hamburger? 20... you losing it.... oke:

Nope....easy fix to that unsightly egg yoke look. I'm not a meat eater anyway.
