Side roof frame "gasket" stands out about 8 mm

Hi,

Has an E86 since a month back. Saw this week that the side roof frame "gasket" stands out about 8 mm, in the rear end. See Picture. Dare I just press/hammer it lite in place or how do I get it in place?

I would not hammer it. You need to find out how it fixes. Get yourself a copy of BMW TIS from eBay.

No'14 I think these just clip in so a light tap with a small rubber mallet might pop it back in place?

Just clip it in with a gentle push.

Otherwise pull off and reattach. Don't be shy.

I'll give it at try tomorrow with a little hammer and some soft Wood.

- Nice black front spoiler ba3bas, I have already saved your pic for a week ago for future projects. I hope it's ok to copy. (I live in Sweden, so it's not in the neighborhood... :wink: )
I concider to bake a splitter in carbon, and a black spoiler would reinforce that race attitude.

It didn't react to light hammering. Any other ideás how it is mounted? Shall I try to pull it down first?
